What is Tuck-a-Bed?

Most people complain about the difficulty of installing the fitted sheet onto a mattress,

particularly when the mattress is in a frame or in a tight, confined space.

‘Tuck-a-Bed’ is especially helpful when making beds in Caravans, motorhomes, boats, Bunk

beds or when the heavy mattress needs to be lifted to apply the fitted sheet.

‘Tuck-a-Bed’ is an effective device which aids in the process of putting the fitted sheet onto a

mattress without the need to push your hands down alongside or under the mattress and

without needing to lift, manipulate or having to drag the mattress up or out.

1. Lay the fitted sheet on top of the mattress in the correct orientation.

2. Drag the sheet back to expose the furthest corners of the mattress.

3. Open ‘Tuck-a-Bed’ to a 90 degree angle with the logos facing out.

4. Place ‘Tuck-a-Bed’ on top of the mattress at the corners, as they will go onto the bed.

5. Lay the fitted sheet over ‘Tuck-a-Bed’ with the corner of the fitted sheet on top and matching the corner of ‘Tuck-a-Bed’.

Note: If the sheet is loose or too tight, adjust the corner of the fitted sheet on the corner of ‘Tuck-a-Bed’.

6. Lift both the sheet and ‘Tuck-a-Bed’ slightly to allow the elastic of the fitted sheet to

slip under ‘Tuck-a-Bed ’, then drag the combination out to the corner of the mattress

and push the combination down.

7. ‘Tuck-a-Bed’ will push the sheet into position; proceed to the next corner and repeat.

Hint: Start from the furthest corner and work back towards yourself.

8. The elastic edge does not go under the mattress, as ‘Tuck-a-Bed will hold the sheet in

place till it needs to come off for laundering.
